Watch: Cash Rains On Busy Hyderabad Road, YouTuber's Bike Stunt Invites Police Ire

The road stunt, apparently performed for social media clout, has ignited outrage among netizens in Hyderabad, who are demanding strict action against the content creator.

A viral video showing a YouTuber and Instagram influencer tossing bundles of cash into the air amidst moving traffic in Hyderabad's Kukatpally area has received flak from the social media users. The individual, identified as Power Harsha alias Mahadev, who goes by the online name “its_me_power,” can be seen in the video causing commotion as drivers and pedestrians rush to pick up the money, resulting in hazardous disturbances on the busy street.

The video showed a man riding pillion on a two-wheeler and tossing rupee notes onto the ground. In another clip, the man is seen walking on the road and scattering cash. Additionally, the video captures members of the public picking up the money.

The stunt, apparently performed for social media clout, has ignited outrage among netizens, who are demanding strict action against the content creator. Many have expressed concern over the potential risks the act posed, highlighting how the rush to grab the cash could have resulted in serious accidents.

Adding fuel to the fire, the YouTuber reportedly expressed his intent to continue such stunts in the future.

Taking to X, Telangana Police said, "Youths are becoming a danger to the society and are being jailed. Stunts on bikes, spending money on the road, doing crazy things for reels and videos... the police will not ignore such things under any circumstances. Strict laws are applied and prison sentences are counted."

The Cyberabad police registered an FIR in the issue and requested the citizens to not spread the video.

Bengaluru Man Throws Cash From Bengaluru Flyover

This incident has drawn parallels to a similar event last year in Bengaluru, where a man was arrested for tossing currency notes off a flyover during peak traffic hours. The unexpected shower of cash, mostly in denominations of Rs 10, Rs 100, and Rs 200 led to a chaotic scramble that caused a significant traffic jam on Mysuru Road at KR Market.

Social media users have also been quick to point out the reckless nature of these actions urging authorities to take preventive measures to avoid such dangerous stunts from becoming a trend.
