'Why Is BJP Not Naming Pakistan...': Asaduddin Owaisi Slams Centre Over J&K Terror Attack Cases

Owaisi also lashed out at the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, likening it to Hitler's rule, for its order to display names of eatery owners on the Kanwar Yatra route.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday slammed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party over the recent spike in cases of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

He questioned why the BJP was not naming Pakistan as more than 50 soldiers have been killed by terrorists across the border.

"More than 50 of our soldiers were killed by terrorists from across the border. Even today we have lost a soldier at the LoC," said the Hyderabad MP while addressing an event in Telangana's Kodangal.

"Why isn't the BJP taking the name of Pakistan now? The attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda... Doda is way too far from the LoC, how did the terrorists reach there? The BJP, however, isn't talking about this," he added.

He also lashed out at the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, likening it to Hitler's rule, for its order to display names of eatery owners on the Kanwar Yatra route.

The order was later stayed by the Supreme Court.

Hitler had told Jews in Germany during his regime that they had to wear the 'Star of David' and that they would be boycotted, said the AIMIM chief.

He claimed that incidents of destroying houses of some Muslims with bulldozers were happening in Madhya Pradesh and other places and added that hate has been spread against Muslims and that is not good for the country.

He also made an apparent reference to BJP MP Nishikant Dubey's comments that the population of Adivasis in the Santhal Parganas region of Jharkhand was on a decline due to the growing influx of "Bangladeshi infiltrators".

Responding to the comment, Owaisi said that Jharkhand does not share a border with Bangladesh.

"If they have to come, they have to come from Bangladesh, from Seemanchal or Bengal or Assam. There is no border with Jharkhand. How can they reduce the population of Adivasis...BSF is yours, SSB is yours," he said.
