On Friday, independent weather blogger Pradeep John, widely known as Tamil Nadu Weatherman, predicted that the foggy conditions would persist in northern Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, over the next four days. He attributed the phenomenon to temperature variations between land and sea, which lead to moisture condensation, as per Live Chennai.
