Pune Porsche Car Crash: The mother of one of the victims of the Pune Porsche car crash burst into tears while answering questions about her deceased son. The accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area. The car was being driven by the teenage son of a prominent Pune realtor, who has been arrested.

According to witnesses, the teen driving the luxury sports car was believed to be speeding at over 200 km per hour as it struck a bike carrying two 24-year-old tech professionals returning home from a party. One of them, Ashwini Koshta, was thrown about 20 feet into the air, and died on the spot, while the other, Aneesh Awadhiya, was hurled into a parked car.

Speaking about the fatal accident, Aneesh Awadhiya’s mother said that now she will never be able to meet her son because the 17-year-old accused killed him. After keeping her composure initially, the mother of the deceased boy burst into tears while responding to questions about her son.

"Usne mere bachhe ki jaan le li. Mera bachha mujhse door ho gaya. Ab kabhi nahi mil paaungi main usse (He killed my son. Now, I will never be able to meet my son)," Savitha Awadhiya said, as quoted by NDTV.

On Wednesday, the Juvenile Justice Board modified its order and sent the teenager to a remand home three days after he was granted bail on the condition that he write an essay on accidents.

"Ladke ki galti hai, hatya bhi keh sakte hai usko. Kyunki agar usne itni badi galti nahi ki hoti toh aaj kisi ki jaan na jaati. Agar thoda bhi uske ghar waalo ne mana kiya hota ki aisa nahi karte hain toh aaj mere bete ki jaan bachi hoti. Ye seedhe seedhe hatya kehlati hai  ("It is the boy's mistake, you can even call it murder, because if he had not made such a big mistake, no one would have died. If only his family members had paid attention, then today my son would have been alive. This is straight-up murder)," NDTV quoted Awadhiya as saying.

The Porsche Taycan involved in the crash had reportedly been operating without a number plate for months. The luxury sports car, valued at Rs 2.5 crore, had its registration pending due to the owner's failure to pay the fees of Rs 1,758, according to Maharashtra transport officials.

Accused Should Face Strictest Punishment: Victim’s Mother

The victim’s mother appealed to the Maharashtra government to help her get justice. "Kadi se kadi saja milni chahiye. Bahut bachane ki koshish kar rahe hai woh apne bachhe ko. Paise waale hain isiliye sochte hain ki hum apne bachhe ko kahin se bhi bacha ke nikal sakte hain. Lekin mera bachha toh gaya hai na (He should face the strictest punishment. They are trying very hard to save him. They are people with money who think they can save their son. But my son died)," she said, as quoted by NDTV.

Earlier on Wednesday, the sessions court remanded Vishal Agarwal (50), the minor's father, and two employees of Hotel Black Club, Nitesh Shevani and Jayesh Gavkar, in police custody till May 24, as reported by news agency PTI. Before the accident, the teenager had allegedly consumed alcohol at Hotel Black Club.

He Visted Us On My Anniversary, Brought Gifts: Victim’s Mother

Speaking on her last meeting with her son, Awadhiya said, "He visited us in 3 May. It was my anniversary. So he was visiting us. He left on the May 5". She further stated, "woh bahut achha bachha tha, sabko apna bana leta tha (He was a good child. He was nice to everyone)".

"Woh bola mumma aapke liye main gift leke aaya hoon Dubai se. Chocolate aur khajoor. Toh main aaunga aap logon ko dene. Jaldi hi aane wala hoon. Lekin woh ho nahi paya (He told me that he had got gifts for me: chocolates and dates. I will visit you soon. But that was not to be)," she said.
