To guarantee efficient traffic flow during the event, residents are asked to cooperate with traffic officials and utilize the approved alternate routes.
At the same time, in order to maintain efficient traffic flow and avoid congestion, temporary modifications to the traffic system are required due to the ongoing construction of the Tata Metro on Ganeshkhind Road, which runs between Shivajinagar Court and Pune University Chowk. At Pune University Chowk, there are two main construction tasks involved:
- PMR 19/02-related work.
- Baner Ramp construction for the double-decker flyover.
According to the Maharashtra government's notification, the Pune Traffic Police has put in place temporary traffic diversions under the Motor Vehicle Act because the Baner Ramp and the PMR 19/02 pillars will stretch to both sides of the road. Beginning on January 15, 2025, these detours will be in effect until further notice.
