UPSC To Debar Puja Khedkar From Future Exams

A criminal case was filed against controversial probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar on Friday for "misrepresenting and falsifying facts" after a "thorough investigation" by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) into allegations of misconduct.

She is accused of manipulating her identity to exceed the allowable number of attempts for the civil services examination, according to a statement from the Commission.

The UPSC has also issued a show cause notice concerning the cancellation of her candidature for the 2022 examination and is considering barring her from future exams, the statement added.

Following this, the UPSC lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police. A complaint was received from the UPSC, leading to the registration of a case under relevant legal sections. The investigation is now being conducted by the crime branch, police said, PTI reported.
