The franchise posted a video to show the design of their jersey. “Presenting to you, our jersey for the inaugural @wplt20 season. The glorious jersey depicts the passion & enthusiasm of our lionesses who are set to give it their all in the first-ever season!" the tweet by Gujarat Giants read.

The first-ever season of Women's Premier League (WPL 2023) will witness a total of five teams battle it out for the most-coveted title in women's cricket. The five teams participating in WPL 2023 are Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriors.
A total of 20 league matches and two playoff matches will be played in the first season of Women's Premier League. WPL 2023 final match will be played at the Brabourne Stadium on 26th March. WPL tournament will be played for 23 days.
Once the WPL gets over, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will start. All the matches of the Women's Premier League will be played in Mumbai only, but due to the increase in popularity, matches may be held in different grounds in future seasons.
