Gold medalist Avani Lekhara, fresh off her victory in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event, will be aiming for another podium finish in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH1 on September 1 (Sunday). Meanwhile, India's track and field athletes will also be looking to contribute to the country's medal tally.
Preethi Pal will compete in the women's 200m T35 race, seeking to add to her Paralympic accolades. In badminton, Sukant Kadam and Suhas Yathiraj will face off in the men's singles SL4 semi-finals, ensuring India a medal in this event. Nitesh Kumar will also vie for a spot in the finals in the men's singles SL3 category, aiming to boost India's medal tally. Additionally, Ravi Rongali in men's shot put and Nishad Kumar and Ram Pal in men's high jump, are strong contenders for medals.
