The six contestants battled it out in an intense battle at Stade de France, but only three Para athletes could realise their dream of bagging a medal for their country.
Cuba's Ever Rene Castro Martinez finished last with an attempt of 34.34m, and the Gold medal was bagged by Iran's Sadegh Beit Sayah, followed by Silver medal from Navdeep Singh of India, and Bronze medal finish was bagged by Pengxiang Sun of China.
