Pakistan Pacer Mohammad Irfan inquired over spot-fixing allegations
New Delhi: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Irfan was reportedly inquired by the anti-corruption unit over spot- fixing in the Pakistan Super League
The 7’1” bowler represents Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League and also played the game against Peshawar Zalmi, clinching two wickets.
Irfan's phone was confiscated by the anti-corruption unit. However, the cricketer has not been suspended and will continue to serve his PSL team.
On Friday, Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, both member of Pakistan’s T20 squad were handed a 2-year suspension by Pakistan’s Anti-Corruption Unit.
Like Irfan, Sharjeel and Khalid Latif represent Islamabad United in PSL.
