Luke Wright's superb response to hate message for PSL final withdrawal
New Delhi: Quetta Gladiators suffered a major blow as majority of the foreign players decided to pull out of the PSL finals which is scheduled on 5 March in Lahore, Pakistan.
After guiding Gladiators to the PSL finals, England trio of Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright and Tymal Mills have opted not to travel to Lahore for the final match.
Luke Wright took to Twitter to announce his decision to pul out of the finals. The England international apologized the Pakistan cricket fans as his decision to opt out of the finals as his decision was based on security concerns in Lahore.
It's with a heavy heart I will not be coming to Lahore. I have a young family and for me a game of cricket is just not worth the risk 1/3

I'm sorry as I know how much it means to you all and hopefully in the future the safety will not be in doubt to come play there. 2/3 — Luke Wright (@lukewright204) February 28, 2017
However, His apology did not go well with one Pakistani fan who abused him for his move but Luke Wright had a fitting replyThanks once again to @TeamQuetta and @thePSLt20 for having me. Such lovely people. Great tournament with so much talent. See u soon ???????? 3/3
