As soon as RCB's IPL 2024 Playoffs berth was confirmed, a tweet by an RCB star who has tasted success already in the Women's Premier League (WPL) has taken the internet by a storm.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) managed to pull a rabbit out of their hat as they won six matches in a row, beating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last league match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 to secure a place for them in the Playoffs. The Faf du Plessis-led side were down and out and had only managed 1 win from their first 8 matches. However, they went on to win each of their final six matches to storm their way into the final four.

As soon as RCB's IPL 2024 Playoffs berth was confirmed, a tweet by an RCB star who has tasted success already in the Women's Premier League (WPL) has taken the internet by a storm. While RCB needed to beat CSK by a margin of 18 runs, they defeated the Men in Yellow by 27 runs.

Soon after their emphatic performance in the latter half of the league stage, Shreyanka Patil, who was present at the venue took to X to take a dig at critics who had trolled the team after their initial disappointment.

RCB To Play IPL 2024 Eliminator

With 14 points from as many games, RCB are all set to play the Eliminator. However, who they will play in this knock-out game is still not clear with either Rajasthan Royals (RR) or Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) set to finish third on the table and set up a clash with RCB. Both the teams have a match remaining on the last double header of IPL 2024 on Sunday (May 19).
