LSG vs MI Highlights, IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 4 wickets in match number 48 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Ekana Sports City Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday (April 30). KL Rahul-led LSG completely dominated the fixture. While they won the toss and elected to field first, it turned out to be a great call as they managed to restrict MI to 144/7 in their 20 overs.
For Lucknow, it was Mohsin Khan who was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with figures of 2/36 while Naveen ul Haq, Mayank Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi and Marcus Stoinis picked a wicket each. The Aussie all-rounder then returned to make an impact with the bat after LSG lost Arshin Kulkarni for a golden duck in the first over with Nuwan Thushara getting his wicket. Stonis scored 62 off 45 and departed only in the 15th over, falling to Mohammad Nabi but only when victory seemed more or less a certainty for LSG.

LSG vs MI Highlights, IPL 2024: Tim David's Valiant Effort For MI Goes In Vain
For MI, Tim David played a valiant knock to give MI something to bowl at. He remained not out on 35 off 18 after Nehal Wadhera's 46 off 41 and Ishan Kishan's 36-ball 32 played innings revival knock. However, their knocks went in vain as LSG managed to clinch the match with balls to spare. Towards the latter half of LSG's innings, MI did get a few breakthroughs to take the match deep but could not prevent LSG to cross the winning line.
Hardik Pandya may have failed with the bat, falling without troubling the scorers, but was the stand out performer with the ball in hand and ended with figures of 2/26. Gerald Coetzee, Nabi and Thushara were the other wicket-takers for MI whose miserable season continues with yet another defeat.
