The official schedule for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has been announced, with the tournament set to begin on March 22. The season opener will see Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final will take place on May 25 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. A total of 74 matches will be played across 13 venues, including two highly anticipated encounters between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI).
MS Dhoni set for another season with CSK
Mumbai Indians will be led by Hardik Pandya, while Ruturaj Gaikwad will take over the captaincy for Chennai Super Kings. Last season, both teams failed to qualify for the playoffs, making this season crucial as they battle for their sixth IPL title.
Fans will once again witness MS Dhoni in CSK colors, while Rohit Sharma continues as a key player for MI, despite stepping down from captaincy.
