Fans on Twitter reacted to the viral video. A user wrote, "Feel bad for stars when they get mobbed like this. Especially when they are out for family outings. They looked genuinely scared as they walked out. No wonder, they don't treat fans with respect at times." Another wrote, "Kohli looked angry, not happy with all the crowd around Anushka and his family."
Anushka is often seen in the stands supporting Virat Kohli, who is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). After the 2021 edition IPL, Virat stepped down as captain of RCB. However, with regular skipper Faf du Plessis injured, Kohli was asked to lead the Bangalore-based franchise in their last two matches. Bangalore will square off against Kolkata in their IPL 2023 match on Wednesday (April 25) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
