Anushka Sharma's Reaction As Virat Kohli Survives Run Out On First Ball Of Innings In RCB vs GT Goes Viral

Anushka Sharma's reaction to Virat Kohli getting run out of the first ball of the RCB innings in their run-chase against GT at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) beat Gujarat Titans (GT) for the second time in IPL 2024 when the two teams locked horns at the M Chinnasway Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday (May 5). With the win, RCB completed a hat-trick of victories in the season after a poor start to the tournament. Kohli, the tournament's leading run-scorer so far, scored 42 off 27 as RCB chased down their target of 148 in 13.4 overs to clinch the 2 points and move to the ninth spot on the IPL 2024 points table.

However, it could have been a completely different story had Kohli not survived a run-out chance in the first ball of the innings. Kohli and Faf du Plessis later went on to add 92 runs for the first wicket and laid the perfect foundation for the chase. It was GT's David Miller who made a brilliant stop and threw the ball at the keeper's end with Kohli, who had lost his bat, not even in the frame when the ball passed the wickets.

Virat Kohli Picked In India's T20 World Cup 2024 Squad

While there were several media reports which suggested that Kohli was no longer an automated selection in India's T20 scheme of things, the senior batter was picked in India's 15-member squad for T20 World Cup 2024 being played in USA and West Indies.
