Liverpool Vs Nottingham Forest Premier League 2024/25 | As It Happened
Liverpool controlled the proceedings right from the word go, and were dominating the play with constant attacks up front. However, the likes of Mohammad Salah, Luis Diaz, and Diogo Jota fired blanks, as all the hardwork done by Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai went in vain and were rewarded for their playmaking.
At the end of first-half, Nottingham Forest failed to manage even a shot at Liverpool's goal, but the second-half proved to be entirely opposite, as The Reds looked a shadowof themselves with clueless positioning and playmaking.
Even at the back, Arne Slot's side struggled heavily as the iconic full-back duo of Trent Alexander Arnold and Andrew Robertson looked out of sorts and the moment of difference came via former Manchester United and Chelsea players respectively, as Antony Elanga did brilliantly to assist Callum Hudson-Odoi for the opener in the 72nd minute.
