With the win, Nottingham Forest continue their unbeaten start to the season, and now sit alongside the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Newcastle United, and AFC Bournemouth as the only sides that remain unbeaten this season.

Liverpool, with the defeat, not only lose their record of clean sheets and unbeaten start to the season, but lose thier grip on top spot in the league, as Manchester City's win against Brentford now hand them a three-point advantage up top.

Liverpool controlled the proceedings right from the word go, and were dominating the play with constant attacks up front. However, the likes of Mohammad Salah, Luis Diaz, and Diogo Jota fired blanks, as all the hardwork done by Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai went in vain and were rewarded for their playmaking.

At the end of first-half, Nottingham Forest failed to manage even a shot at Liverpool's goal, but the second-half proved to be entirely opposite, as The Reds looked a shadowof themselves with clueless positioning and playmaking.
