Virat Kohli Shares Heartwarming Video To Wish Yuvraj Singh On His Birthday

World Cup winning star Yuvraj Singh had an illustrious international cricketing career spanning 17 years, which is every cricketer's dream.

New Delhi: Former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh is celebrating his 40th birthday today. On his birthday, team India's Test captain Virat Kohli took to social media to share a video in which he remembered old moments with Yuvraj Singh. In the video, Virat Kohli talked about his first meeting with the legendary all-rounder.

"I had come from the U-19 World Cup. He welcomed me very nicely, made me comfortable and started joking around with me. We like similar kinds of food, we are both Punjabis and we love Punjabi music," Virat said in the video.

World Cup winning star Yuvraj Singh had an illustrious international cricketing career spanning 17 years, which is every cricketer's dream.

Yuvraj announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on June 10, 2019. He has played 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 40 Test matches for India.

He was one of those players who had the ability to win matches on his own. During his playing days, he was not only known for his batting but also for his fielding and bowling skills.

Yuvraj was part of India's T20 World Cup winning team in 2007 and also the Indian team that won the 50-over World Cup in 2011.

Last week, Yuvraj had made a bombshell announcement regarding his comeback from retirement. He tweeted a video to announce he is ready for his 'second innings' as the 22-second-long video continued to build towards the 'big surprise'.

"It's that time of the year. Are you ready? Do you have what it takes? Have a big surprise for all you guys! Stay tuned!" tweeted Yuvraj.

After retiring from international cricket, Yuvraj has been playing in cricket leagues across the world.
