- Hari Nishaanth: In TNPL 2021, playing for Dindigul Dragons, Nishaanth scored 368 runs at an impressive average of 40.88.

These released players subsequently went under the hammer alongside various other promising talents from Tamil Nadu.
In a riveting bidding showdown during the TNPL 2024 auction, iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans made a bold move, splurging Rs 22 lakh to secure the services of Sai Kishore R setting a new record for the highest bid in the tournament's history. Following this, Sanjay Yadav was also acquired by Trichy Grand Chojas for Rs 22 lakh. With these significant acquisitions, Sai Kishore and Sanjay Yadav emerge as the top players in the history of TNPL in terms of auction prices.
