  • Guruswamy Ajitesh: He emerged as the highest run-scorer in TNPL 2023, accumulating an impressive 385 runs for Nellai Royal Kings.
  • Sanjay Yadav R: Known as one of the most expensive players in the TNPL, he proved to be a valuable acquisition for NRK in 2022, amassing 452 runs.
  • Hari Nishaanth: In TNPL 2021, playing for Dindigul Dragons, Nishaanth scored 368 runs at an impressive average of 40.88.
  • Narayan Jagadeesan: A consistent performer, he was the highest run-scorer in TNPL 2019, accumulating 448 runs at an outstanding average of 64.00.
  • Arun Karthik: Holding the record for the highest number of runs in a single season, Arun Karthik amassed a remarkable 472 runs in TNPL 2018.
  • Washington Sundar: Representing Salem Spartans, Washington Sundar showcased his batting prowess, smashing 459 runs at an impressive average of 76.50.
  • Narayan Jagadeesan: In the inaugural season of TNPL, Jagadeesan amassed 397 runs with an impressive average of 56.71.

  • 2016: W Anthony Das - 16 wickets (Chepauk Super Gillies)
  • 2017: R Sai Kishore - 17 wickets (Tuti Patriots)
  • 2018: AB Tanwar - 15 wickets (Idream Karaikudi Kaalai)
  • 2019: G Periyaswamy - 21 wickets (Chepauk Super Gillies)
  • 2021: P Saravana Kumar - 13 wickets (Ruby Trichy Warriors)
  • 2022: AB Tanwar - 17 wickets (Lyca Kovai Kings)
  • 2023: Shahrukh Khan - 17 wickets (Lyca Kovai Kings)

Coming to the TNPL 2024 auction that took place on February 7 (Wednesday), all eight teams had already retained their marquee players and made strategic decisions to release notable names such as R Sai Kishore, T Natarajan, and Sanjay Yadav. These released players subsequently went under the hammer alongside various other promising talents from Tamil Nadu.

In a riveting bidding showdown during the TNPL 2024 auction, iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans made a bold move, splurging Rs 22 lakh to secure the services of Sai Kishore R setting a new record for the highest bid in the tournament's history. Following this, Sanjay Yadav was also acquired by Trichy Grand Chojas for Rs 22 lakh. With these significant acquisitions, Sai Kishore and Sanjay Yadav emerge as the top players in the history of TNPL in terms of auction prices.
