All the spotlights are on the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 that is just less than a month away. India have already revealed their 15-man squad, set to be led by Rohit Sharma and his deputy Hardik Pandya. Ahead of the marquee event, tournament's official broadcasters in India, Star Sports, released an inspiring promo starring Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. Titled ‘Mahayudh’, the promo features the legendary actor delivering an intense monologue to inspire the Men in Blue for the upcoming World Cup.

The promo video also includes footage of Indian cricket stars such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah from past World Cups. Alongside his motivational message, the movie star is also utilizing the opportunity to promote his upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD, in which he is set to play the role of ‘Ashwatthama’.

Men In Blue To Kick Off T20 World Cup Campaign Against Ireland

India will begin their T20 World Cup 2024 journey on June 5 against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. Regarding the Indian team, the squad has been finalized, and the players will depart once they are released from the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 commitments.
