South Africa hope for Faf return after birth of child
New Delhi: South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis is expected to join the proteas camp for upcoming Test series against hosts England after confirming the birth of his child on Thursday.
Giving a miss to T20 series, faf had returned back to South Africa after early exit from Champions Trophy to be with wife, Imari, putting a question mark on his avalibility for the first Test at the Lord’s.
The 32-year-old took to Twitter to confirm the arrival of his baby in tweet: “Our biggest blessing yet came in a small package.so very grateful”

After losing ODI and T20 series by a margin of 2-1, South Africa will lock horns for four-match Test series which will begin on July 6.
South Africa appointed Dean Elger as captain in Faf’s absence and the batsman is leading the proteas in three-day warm-up against England Lions at Worcester, which started on Thursday.
