Raees to play for St. Lucia Stars in CPL 2018
Caribbean Premier League franchise St. Lucia Stars have roped in Pakistan Pacer Rumman Raees for the forthcoming edition of the cricketing extravaganza.
Caribbean Premier League franchise St. Lucia Stars have roped in Pakistan pacer Rumman Raees for the forthcoming edition of the cricketing extravaganza.
Raees is out injured and has not been included in Pakistan’s squad for England tour and will have good preparatory time before the commencement of CPL.
The 26-year-old last featured during the third edition of the Pakistan Super League, playing for Islamabad United before injury ruled him out for the season.
Caribbean Premier League is scheduled to begin on 8 August 2018.
Announcing the arrival of the speed machine, St. Lucia Stars took to Twitter and wrote, “Stars will present a real ‘star’ @rummanraees15 from Pakistan in upcoming @CPL He has plenty of tricks. Batsmen watch out!! #StarsRiseAgain.”

Raees will join Darren Sammy and Lendl Simmons amongst the hosts in the St. Lucia squad.
The right-hand pacer has featured in 9 ODI’s and 8 T20I’s, picking up 23 wickets in total.
