One of many challenges I'll Face In My Career: Kuldeep Yadav On His Recent Struggles

Kuldeep Yadav believes that his struggling phase is one of the many challenges he will have to overcome in international cricket by keep working hard

India young leggie Kuldeep Yadav is struggling to get a spot in team India’s Test XI, following his exclusion from T20 squad. Yadav believes that his struggling phase is one of the many challenges he will have to overcome in international cricket by keep working hard. Wrist-spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal were kept out of the scenario for both the West Indies and South Africa series with skipper Kohli indicating the management wants to strengthen the lower batting order and try out a new combination in the spin department, ahead of World T20I in Australia. "When I started playing cricket, never thought I would play for India. I have been playing for India close to three years now, there will be many challenges, like the one I am facing at the moment," Kuldeep told PTI. "There is nothing without hard work and discipline and I continue to play the game with that approach," he said at a promotional event. Asked if team management have conveyed their reasons for dropping him and Chahal in T20 squad, Kuldeep said: "I will talk about it when the Test series is over." Earlier, recently-appointed BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had opined skipper Virat Kohli should bring back wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav (KulCha) in the limited overs format. "This is a good team but Virat needs to bring back the wrist spinners into this format," Ganguly wrote in his column for Times of India. "I hope Yuzvendra Chahal has only been rested to give opportunity to others, or else he is a must for India in the T20 format.
