'Bohot Mehnat Ki Hai Bhai Ne...': U19 WC Star Musheer Reacts To Brother Sarfaraz Khan's Maiden India Call-Up- WATCH
As Sarfaraz joins the India squad in Visakhapatnam, his younger brother Musheer Khan is with the Indian U-19 contingent who are competing at the U-19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa.
Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan received a maiden India call-up for the second Test match against England set to commence in Visakhapatnam on February 2 (Friday). While the batter had been scoring loads of runs in domestic cricket season after season, he was finally able to find a place for himself in the Indian team with KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja ruled out of the second Test due to injuries.
As Sarfaraz joins the India squad in Visakhapatnam, his younger brother Musheer Khan is with the Indian U-19 contingent who are competing at the U-19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa. Musheer has been in sensational form himself scoring 325 runs in 4 innings and currently being on the top of the highest run-scorers list in the tournament. Riding on his form, India have been unbeaten in the ongoing U19 World Cup.
And now a video has been shared by ICC and the Cricket World Cup official Instagram handles in which Musheer can be seen reacting to his brother's maiden India call-up.
"Whatever is happening is because of our father. It is his dream that both of us play for India. So that's what we are trying to do. My brother has worked extremely hard and he has gotten the fruits of his efforts by being named in the Indian team. The only thing now is for him to cement his place there. I feel good and happy to see my brother progress. I am also working hard from behind," he says in the video.

IND vs ENG 2nd Test Selection Dilemma: Sarfaraz Khan Or Rajat Patidar?
Meanwhile, the team management and the captain will have a selection dilemma of sorts with them most probably having to choose between Sarfaraz or Rajat Patidar.
"It will be a tough choice. What value they bring to the team, of course, is that they are superb players. We have seen how well they have done in domestic cricket in the last few years," batting coach Vikram Rathour said at a pre-match conference.
However, he also said that the final decision would be taken by head coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma.
