Mohammad Irfan reportedly out of PSL over spot-fixing allegations

New Delhi: Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan is the new name to be suspended from Pakistan Super League over Spot Fixing allegations, according to reports by Dunya news, a local Pakistani newspaper.


The 7’1” bowler represents Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League and also played in the game against Peshawar Zalmi, clinching two wickets.


Irfan phone was confiscated by the anti-corruption unit and will leave Dubai for Pakistan for further investigation.


On Friday, Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, both member of Pakistan’s T20 squad were handed a 2-year suspension by Pakistan’s Anti-Corruption Unit.


Like Irfan, Sharjeel and Khalid Latif represent Islamabad United in PSL.
