Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy got a little partnership going but skipper Cummins got rid of Pant as he got out for 21 runs. R Ashwin complemented Reddy well with a well-made 22 bu Starc got him trapped LBW. Starc picked another as he rattled Harshit Rana's stumps but Reddy unleashed an array of counterattacking strokes before Starc ended his innings on 42 runs.
