IND vs ZIM Playing 11: More Than Five Players Likely To Debut Under Shubman Gill's Captaincy

Many standout players from IPL have been included in the Indian squad for IND vs ZIM T20I series. Several of these players might get the opportunity to make their debut in the series opener.

Probable playing 11s for IND vs ZIM T20I series: A second-string young Indian team, led by Shubman Gill, will compete against Sikandar Raza's Zimbabwe in a five-match T20I series. The first match of IND vs ZIM T20I series is scheduled to be played at Harare Sports Club on Saturday (July 6), starting at 4:30 pm Indian time (IST) onwards.

With legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma no longer part of India's T20I setup, Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and SRH star Abhishek Sharma are likely to open the innings for India. Captain Shubman Gill is expected to take the crucial number 3 spot in the batting lineup.

Following Gill, Riyan Parag could be asked to bat at number 4, with finisher Rinku Singh slotting in at number 5. Jitesh Sharma might be chosen as the wicketkeeper.

The team might field two spinners, Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi, in IND vs ZIM 1st T20I. Sundar not only brings his bowling skills but also adds depth to the batting lineup. India could rely on a trio of fast bowlers: Avesh Khan, Khaleel Ahmed, and Mukesh Kumar.
