Talking about the first T20 against South Africa, Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep Singh crushed the Proteas' top order and restricted them to 106 runs. In reply to that, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav chased down the total and led India to a comfortable win. The Indian team defeated South Africa by eight wickets in the opening T20I in Thiruvananthapuram.  India has played 21 T20I matches this year and has won 16 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.
