Bumrah, Akash Deep's New Ball Spells Put Bangladesh On Backfoot
After Bumrah produced the early breakthrough, Akash Deep also scalped two wickets in two balls to put India on top. Deep removed Zakir Hasan and Mominul Haque off successive deliveries as Bangladesh went to lunch at 26/3 after 9 overs, still trailing India by 350 runs. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (15*) and Mushfiqur Rahim will have a big task ahead of them in order to reduce the defecit which currently seems to be a difficult challenge (4*). Bangladesh have never beaten India in a Test match before but are fresh off a historic Test series win over Pakistan.
