Team India have already bagged the series with a match to go, having won each of the first two T20Is. The hosts have been the dominant side and would want to end the series on a high and complete a clean sweep.

On the other hand, Bangladesh are still searching for their maiden win on this tour, having lost the two Tests followed by the first two T20Is so far. The Bangla Tigers had come to India on the back of a historic Test series win over Pakistan and would have wanted to challenge the Indians at home but it has been an underwhelming performance from them. The Najmul Hossian Shanto-led side would want to at least finish off the tour with a win but against Suryakumar Yadav & Co. that doesn't seem to be the likely outcome of the match, unless something dramatic unfolds in Hyderabad.
