'Our Main Strength Is Batting': PAK Captain Babar Azam Says Pakistan Is 'Very Confident' Ahead Of IND Vs PAK

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has said that their batting is their main strength going into the game against India on Sunday. While speaking to the press ahead of IND vs PAK match, Azam said that he is hopeful for good results. 

It is considered that bowling is the main strength of Pakistan's team, but things are different in 2021 as per Pakistan captain Babar Azam. He said that in this World Cup, batting will be Pak's main strength. Babar isn't completely wrong as he has the following batting options in the playing XI - Babar Azam, Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Hafeez, and Shoaib Malik. 

"I think this time our main strength is batting. The way our batters have been performing over the last couple of months, I am very hopeful that we will produce some good results due to our batting and also do better in the field," said Babar in a press conference, as reported by ANI.

"We have forgotten what we have done in the past and we are trying to focus on the future. We will try to do better on the field in this match and we will try to produce better results," he added. 

'We Are Very Confident...'

"We are very excited to play the World Cup, very excited for this event. The mood in the camp is very confident, we are all very excited. Everybody is excited, and as you know, that the first game is always very crucial, and we will try to produce some good performances in the first game and try to carry forward those performances. We are very confident about the event and the matches coming up," said Babar Azam. 

India vs Pakistan T20 match will be played at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai. The match starts AT 7:30 pm IST. Both teams have faced each other 12 times in the World Cup so far, where Team India has emerged as the winner every time.
