Two Wickets In Two Balls! Akash Deep Hits The Timber Twice In Succession To Stun Bangladesh | WATCH VIDEO
IND vs BAN: Akash Deep produced a brilliant spell of bowling in the first innings of the Bangladesh Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Team India have made a sensational start with the ball in the first innings of the India vs Bangladesh Test series opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday (September 20). After getting bowled out for 376 in the first hour of Day 2, Jasprit Bumrah provided India the early breakthrough in his very first over in international cricket after T20 World Cup 2024 final.
Bumrah cleaned up Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam with a peach of a delivery, removing him off the last ball of his first over. While it looked like the tourists might go to lunch one wicket down, Akash Deep took two wickets in two balls with excellent deliveries. Akash first removed Zakir Hasan for 3 before getting rid of Mominul Haque off the very next ball to send him back to the pavilion for a duck.
