Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sabudana
  • 2 Piece Potato (boiled, mashed)
  • 0.5 Cup Peanuts (roasted, crushed)
  • 2 Piece Green Chillies
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Coriander (chopped)
  • Sendha Namak
  • Ghee

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Wash sabudana properly and soak in just enough water to cover it. Leave for 4-5 hours or overnight until it turns soft.

Step 2

Once the sabudana turns soft, take a bowl, add soaked sabudana, mashed and boiled potatoes, crushed peanuts, green chillies, rock salt, and lemon juice in it. Mix everything well to form a dough.

Step 3

Divide the dough into equal portions. Grease a plastic sheet or banana leaf with ghee. Flatten each portion into thin circles. Make a small hole in centre.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick pan and add ghee to it. Place the flattened thalipeeth onto the pan. Cook on medium flame till its golden brown and crispy on both the sides.

Step 5

Enjoy hot sabudana thalipeeth with chilled curd or vrat-friendly green chutney.
