In intraday trading, the NSE Nifty50 also crossed the 18,500 mark before closing at 18,484, up 217 points or 1.19 percent. Top Sensex gainers included Infosys, Power Grid, Wipro, Tech M, HCL Tech, TCS, HDFC, Sun Pharma, HUL, and M&M, with gains ranging from 1.5% to 2.7%. Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, and Tata Steel were the only companies to experience losses, falling by up to 0.5%.
