DMK MP and party's deputy general secretary Kanimozhi took part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Haryana on Friday

DMK and Congress have been sharing a long-term bond and currently their alliance is governing Tamil Nadu.

The official social media account of the yatra said, "#BharatJodoYatra welcomes Member of Parliament and DMK leader Kanimozhi ji. @KanimozhiDMK. Walking together for India."

Kanimozhi said, "I was delighted to take part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which celebrates our diversity, in Haryana today. Mr. @RahulGandhi's vision of uniting India, is an idea which will be taken forward by the people of India."
