First Look: Volkswagen T-Roc Compact SUV Launched

The T-Roc is petrol only and comes with a 7-speed DSG gearbox as standard. There is no diesel but the 1.5 TSI turbo petrol makes a good 150 bhp and 250Nm. The T-Roc now will rival the just launched Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Jeep Compass and other SUVs. Service intervals or cost is similar to the Tiguan with VW trying to make it more affordable to run. In terms of equipment the list is quite long with an 8 inch touchscreen with all the expected connectivity features while there is also a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, rear camera with sensors, 6 airbags and a lot more.
