Telugu actor Krishna, famed for his outstanding performances in around 350 films, passed away earlier today, on November 15, 2022, after a cardiac arrest.

Telugu superstar Krishna dies at 79.

The renowned actor was born on May 31, 1943, in Burripalem, in the Guntur region of the former Madras Presidency, now known as Andhra Pradesh.

The seasoned actor turned 79 in May of this year. His full name was Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy.

In 1971, Krishna founded Padmalaya Studios, which produced and released Hindi and Telugu.

From the 1960s through the 1980s, Telugu cinema was practically ruled by Krishna, who had a career spanning more than five decades.

In 2009, the actor who pioneered cinematic experimentation received the Padma Bhushan award.

The famous actor was the father of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu.

The well-known actor was in a serious condition and was being monitored in the Continental Hospital's Intensive Care Unit in Hyderabad.

The Telugu cinema industry turned to social media as soon as word of superstar Krishna's passing spread to pay respects to the actor.
