In a video that has gone viral on social media, Dhoni can be seen dancing joyfully alongside Pant and his close friend and the former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina to the sufi classic ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar’ during one of Sakshi Pant’s wedding functions.

Dhoni, known for his close bond with Rishabh Pant and his family, arrived in Dehradun on March 11 (Tuesday) with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni. The presence of his longtime Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate Suresh Raina further amped up the excitement amongst fans as glimpses from the grand celebrations quickly went viral on social media.

Reportedly, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli are also likely to attend the Rishabh Pant's sister's wedding, although there is no official confirmation yet. Both players recently returned to India following the Champions Trophy 2025 triumph in Dubai. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant is expected to join the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) camp soon after the wedding. He was signed for a record-breaking INR 27 crore — the highest-ever earnings for any player in IPL history — and has also been named LSG’s captain for the upcoming Indian Premier League season.
