The new Brezza has been finally launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh. The new Brezza comes in four variants- Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+ . In terms of dimensions, the new Brezza has a length of 3,995mm, width of 1,790mm and height of 1,685mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,500mm.

The new generation Brezza comes with a new look as seen with the slim new grille and new headlamps. The front bumper design is also altered. From the side the new Brezza looks similar to the earlier one with the same boxy SUV-like styling. There are new 16inch alloy wheels too.

The rear styling gets a pair of slim new LED taillamps plus a new rear bumper. The interiors have the biggest update in terms of better quality and a new look. The steering wheel is all new and similar to the Baleno.

The central 9inch touchscreen is all new too and comes with the SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system. There is also connected car technology with 40 plus features. Other new features include a Heads up display which you can adjust for view and a 360 degree view camera. There is also an electric sunroof plus climate control, Arkamys sound system, rear AC vents and more.

The heads-up display can be configurable in terms of the size or the information displayed. Safety features include 6 airbags, ESC as standard.

The Brezza comes with a 1.5l petrol engine in mild hybrid configuration with a new 6-speed automatic torque converter with paddle shifters. Standard is a 5-speed manual gearbox, The new Brezza will compete with the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet.

The new Brezza is the latest in a long line of new car launches from Maruti Suzuki after the Baleno, XL6 and Ertiga were launched in a new avatar.

The interior of the new Maruti Brezza is the biggest change with an all-new look and dashboard design plus stronger build quality too.
