Pakistani actor Moammar Rana joins Bilawal Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party

Apart from several Pakistani films and some TV serials, Rana has worked in a couple of Bollywood films also.

New Delhi: Pakistan’s veteran film and television actor Moammar Rana who has also worked in couple of Bollywood movies, joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Sunday. As per a report by Pakistan’s Geo News, the popular Lollywood actor met Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the party at Bilawal House in Lahore and announced that he was joining the party. Rana hails from a family associated with cricket. He has been working as an actor in Pakistan’s film industry since 23 years. Apart from several Lollywood films and some TV serials, Rana has worked in some Bollywood films also. Rana is set to make his debut as film director with “Sikander” a film that has been in the making sibce 2015. Apart from a number of hits in Pakistan , Moammar made his way towards in the 2000s. He has worked in Bollywood film Dobara with actress Mahima Chaudhry in a special appearance. He made his Bollywood debut “Ek Second... Jo Zindagi Badal De” opposite Manisha Koirala and former Miss India Nikita Anand. In 2018, Rana was seen in the film Azaadi which was based on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, and was directed and produced by Imran Malik
