Rahul Says Bharat Jodo Yatra Is Like India, 'No Hatred, No Violence'. BJP Questions Why Walking With 'Tukde Tukde' Gang Members

The march, according to Rahul Gandhi, was a replica of India, where there was no hatred or violence. Backfiring the Waynad MP, as the BJP asked why he was walking with 'Tukde Tukde' gang members.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the party's Bharat Jodo Yatra, stated on Saturday that the march was a replica of India, where there was no hatred or violence, and where all people and animals were welcomed.

Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's mass outreach effort, arrived in the national capital on Saturday. At the Red Fort, the party conducted a massive public rally.

From the Red Fort, Rahul Gandhi stated, "In Bharat Jodo Yatra, dogs also came but no one harmed them. Cow, buffaloes, pigs, all animals came. All the people came. This Yatra is like our India, I have not seen any hatred or violence among people while walking 2,800 kms, and I have not seen violence or hatred anywhere in the country. But when I turn on the TV, there is hatred all the time," he was quoted as saying by the news agency ANI.

There is solely Hindu-Muslim media 24 hours a day." Rahul Gandhi, in an attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Centre, claimed Hindu-Muslim propaganda is being used to divert attention away from the genuine challenges.

It is not Narendra Modi's government. All of your money, the money of farmers and labourers, airports, ports, and roads go straight to the pockets of their masters. It is Ambani and Adani government. Hindu-Muslim is being done to divert attention from the real issues. Today degree holder youths are selling 'pakoras'," said the Wayanad Member of Parliament.

He went on to say, "The BJP spent thousands of crores to damage my image. When I first entered politics in 2004, our government came to power, and the media praised me all day. They used to spend the entire day on Rahul Gandhi. Then I went to Bhatta Parsaul (in Uttar Pradesh) and brought up the subject of farmers' land, and they turned on me."

Speaking from the Red Fort, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge claimed the BJP was afraid of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and wants to halt it under the guise of COVID.

"The BJP is afraid of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and is using COVID as an excuse. COVID is not found anywhere. Nobody suffered any harm. Prime Minister Modi does not wear a mask. All of this is done to instil fear and break the Yatra," Kharge stated.

On Saturday, actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan also joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress national secretary, and her husband, Robert Vadra, also attended. This is the final day of the yatra in this phase before a nine-day rest until next year. The foot march entered Delhi from Haryana at about 6 am, having begun at the NHPC metro station in Faridabad.

Rahul Gandhi is advocating for the promotion of love. However, he is accompanied by others who seek to divide India. During the Bharat Jodo yatra, members of the 'tukde tukde' gang walked beside him at various points. The senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad questioned how he could spread the love by walking with them.

Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's remarks, senior BJP Leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that India is the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones after China, and the Congress leader should know that Samsung and Apple phones are being made in India now.

Further criticising Gandhi for questioning the Indian Army Prasad said it is the Congress party's strategy to make hateful remarks about Army.

The Centre has sent cautious notes to the Bharat Jodo Yatra in light of escalating COVID cases in several countries, including China.

So far, the Yatra, which began on September 7 in Kanyakumari, has taken in sections of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Haryana.
