There is solely Hindu-Muslim media 24 hours a day." Rahul Gandhi, in an attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Centre, claimed Hindu-Muslim propaganda is being used to divert attention away from the genuine challenges.
It is not Narendra Modi's government. All of your money, the money of farmers and labourers, airports, ports, and roads go straight to the pockets of their masters. It is Ambani and Adani government. Hindu-Muslim is being done to divert attention from the real issues. Today degree holder youths are selling 'pakoras'," said the Wayanad Member of Parliament.

He went on to say, "The BJP spent thousands of crores to damage my image. When I first entered politics in 2004, our government came to power, and the media praised me all day. They used to spend the entire day on Rahul Gandhi. Then I went to Bhatta Parsaul (in Uttar Pradesh) and brought up the subject of farmers' land, and they turned on me."
Speaking from the Red Fort, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge claimed the BJP was afraid of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and wants to halt it under the guise of COVID.
"The BJP is afraid of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and is using COVID as an excuse. COVID is not found anywhere. Nobody suffered any harm. Prime Minister Modi does not wear a mask. All of this is done to instil fear and break the Yatra," Kharge stated.
On Saturday, actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan also joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
