PM Modi will visit Maharashtra's Jalgaon today to felicitate 11 lakh 'Lakhpati Didis'. He will also attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Maharashtra's Jalgaon district on Sunday, August 25, where he will felicitate 11 lakh new 'Lakhpati Didis' who achieved the mark during the third term of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government. Later in the day, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to travel to Rajasthan where he will be the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court.
Prime Minister Modi's visit to 25 pilgrims from Maharashtra's Jalgaon died in a tragic bus accident in Nepal. The pilgrims were among a group of 110 people from several parts of Maharashtra who had gone to Nepal in two buses and one traveller van. A military transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Saturday night brought the bodies of 25 Indian pilgrims back to Jalgaon.
PM Modi's Itinerary For The day
PM Modi will reach Jalgaon at around 11 a.m. As per an official statement by the Prime Minister's Office, around 11:15 AM, the Prime Minister will participate in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan.
At around 4:30 PM in Rajasthan, where he will be the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur.

As per the PMO, the Prime Minister will give certificates and felicitate 11 lakh new Lakhpati Didis, who recently became Lakhpati during the third term of NDA Government. Prime Minister will also interact with Lakhpati Didis from across the country. He will release a Revolving Fund of Rs 2,500 crore which will benefit about 48 lakh members of 4.3 lakh Self-Help Groups (SHG).
PM Modi will also disburse a bank loan of Rs 5,000 crore which will benefit 25.8 lakh members of 2.35 lakh SHGs. Since the inception of Lakhpati Didi Yoajna, one crore women have already been made Lakhpati Didis. The government has set a target to make 3 crore Lakhpati Didis, the PMO said.

PM Modi has been invited as Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court, to be held at the High Court Campus, Jodhpur. Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Rajasthan High Court Museum.
