Maharashtra Agriculture minister Pandurang Fundkar passes away

New Delhi: Maharashtra’s Agriculture Minister Pandurang Fundkar passed away on Thursday morning after a brief illness at a Mumbai hospital. The 67-year-old Minister was inducted in the Devendra Fadnavis ministry in July, 2016. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and paid condolences to the Late Minister. “Saddened by the demise of Maharashtra’s Agriculture Minister Shri Pandurang Fundkar” PM said. “He made an invaluable contribution towards building the BJP in Maharashtra. He was also at the forefront of serving the farmers of the state. My thoughts are with his family and supporters” PM added.
