New Delhi: Locals of Pallel area set ablaze the building of police station Old Pallel in Imphal on Friday night after a woman was shot dead allegedly by a wireless set operator posted there, as reported by the news agency ANI. Police fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. The situation was brought under control later.
