Jan Man: SC lawyer alleges ESSAR tapped phones of politicians, businessmen for 5 years

New Delhi: A shocking allegation of moral and legal impropriety has been made on telecom company ESSAR by a Supreme Court judge that the company tapped phones of various prominent politicians and businessmen in between 2001 and 2006. ABP News can’t verify whether such scandal actually took place. The report is based on a complaint made to the Prime Minister’s Office. However, this revelation can rock the political and business world. According to the complaint, ESSAR’s former Vigilance and Security chief Al Basit Khan had come to SC advocate Suren Uppal with the tapes. Whose phones were tapped? Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani Reliance ADAG chief Anil Ambani His wife Tina Ambani Amitabh Bachchan SP Leader Amar Singh SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav Sahara chief Subrat Roy Late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan BJP leader Piyush Goel BJP leader Suresh Prabhu NCP leader Prafull Patel AB Vajpayee’s son-in-law and OSD Ranjan Bhattacharya BJP leader NK Singh BJP leader Sudhanshu Mittal According to the complaint filed with the PMO, the centre for tapping was in Delhi. Another centre was made in Mumbai. Essar’s Guest house in Delhi’s Greater Kailash was first centre, where as the second centre was the basement of Mumbai’s Essar house in Mahalaxmi area.   Watch full report:
