Delhi: PM Modi to host dinner for all MPs this evening, Congress' Adhir Ranjan says "one must attend"
Parties which gave the meeting a skip included the Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party, DMK, Trinamool Congress, Telugu Desam Party and Rashtriya Janata Dal.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a dinner for all the Members of Parliament this evening. The dinner party will take place at The Ashok Hotel in the national capital. On behalf of the PM, the invitation was extended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi to all members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
It will be the first time that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be meeting all the MPs from across all parties after the new government was formed last month.
Speaking about it, Congress Lok Sabha leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said, "I will attend, so should others. Modi is the prime minister of the entire country. Hope it will be a good dinner function."
On Wednesday, Modi chaired a meeting of all political parties to discuss the idea of ‘one nation, one election’ along with other issues of national importance in both Houses of Parliament.

In the all-party meeting. Modi said a committee will be formed to look into the various issues regarding the "one nation, one election" plan.

It will be interesting to note who all may attend the dinner function tonight.
