Bareilly Love Jihad case: Mother of one accuses muslim man of rape on pretext of marriage

As per her allegations, the man pretended to belong to the Hindu community while trying to befriend her.

New Delhi: An alleged incident of Love Jihad has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly where a woman has leveled rape allegations on a Muslim man of raping her for two years on the pretext of marriage. She also accused him of deception and forceful conversion. As per the complainant the man entrapped her in love by lying about his religion. As per her allegations, he pretended to belong to the Hindu community.  He befriended the girl on the pretext of offering work and then allegedly raped her for two years. The woman has alleged that they also have a one-year-old daughter. When the woman asked the man to get married, he allegedly denied by saying that he can only marry her if she gets converted to Islam and starts eating beef. The victim told the media persons that she met the man in a gym where he introduced himself as ‘Golu’ claiming to be a Hindu. He asked the girl to work with him and later asked her to marry him. After they came closer, he allegedly made a video of her and threatened to post it on the internet and continued raping her for a year. After she gave birth to their daughter, she asked him to get married as per his promise. The man then denied and asked her to get converted to Islam first. Victim’s complaint has been lodged and investigation has been started . Watch ABP News' report:
