Xiaomi Mi 5 on ‘Sale’ in India, Mi 5 successor on its way!

New Delhi: Xiaomi, which is rapidly increasing its smartphone market, has launched the latest Xiaomi Mi 5 Black Colour variant model. Last year, Xiaomi had launched the Mi 5 model but only white colour variant was made available for the customers. But now, Xiaomi has launched the black variant and the company has also confirmed that the phone will also be available in gold variant, very soon. Xiaomi Mi 5 has gone on sale on Amazon India and Flipkart.  Mi India confirmed this information on Twitter that the phone will be available via Amazon and Flipkart on 24 June from 10am. Xiaomi, on Facebook, also confirmed about the gold colour variant will be available soon but did not divulge any official date. "You've been asking, now it's here! The beautiful Mi 5 in Black is now available at Amazon India and Flipkart. Go get it this instant!" Xiaomi India said on Facebook. The feature of the latest Mi 5 includes a 5.15 full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Andreno 530 GPU. The phone has back camera of 16 MP and front camera of 4 MP with a battery of 3,000mAh with quick charge 3.0. The phone which is launched in India will have 3GB RAM/32GB built in storage. Xiaomi Mi 5 is also the brand’s first smartphone with fingerprint sensor in front. There have been reports that, the giant smartphone maker company is now working on successor of its one of the most popular smartphone Xiaomi Mi 5. According to reports, the new model will likely be called Mi 5s. The phone is expected to be launched in the second half of this year. The successor phone will have a stylish look with a pressure sensitive display offering functionality similar to Apple’s 3D touch quality.
