WhatsApp update: WhatsApp has brought a new update for the newly-launched iPhone Xr, iPhone Xs, and iPhone Xs Max. In its latest update for iOS app, the Facebook-owned messaging application has come up with new features for both iPhone and iPad users. Besides, native screen resolution support for the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, WhatsApp has brought a feature that plays the audio message continuously if the sender has sent them back-to-back. There is a new interface for the bubble menu as well in addition to a couple of other new features for all customers. iOS users can find the new update, version 2.18.100, in the App Store for free. Check the updates and related details mentioned below: • Consecutive Voice Messages will now play in sequence, so you don't have to press play on each message - As per the changelog posted on Apple's App Store, version 2.18.100 of WhatsApp brings the ability to automatically play consecutive voice messages in a sequence, so you don't have to press play for each instance. • When you long press a message, a new design makes it faster to reply, forward, delete, copy or star the message -This update also brings a new layout for when you long press a message to reveal options such as reply, forward, delete, copy, and star. • WhatsApp bubble action menu has been redesigned - The bubble menu pops up on a long tap and shows options such as Delete, Reply, Forward, Star, Copy, Delete, and more. - While WhatsApp calls it a redesign, it’s more of an attempt to make performing message actions faster. • Support for iPhone XS Max - Besides providing more stability on the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xr, the WhatsApp for iOS v2.18.100 supports the large display on the iPhone Xs Max. - It was needed because the previous version of WhatsApp had UI compatibility issues with the big display on iPhone Xs Max. • More reply options for Status - Earlier, the user could only reply to a Status with text message, image, GIF image, and video but the update adds more options to the list. - Now a WhatsApp Status can be replied to using voice messages, locations, documents, and even vCards (contact sharing). - This feature is available on WhatsApp for Android app as well.
