New Delhi, July 13: After days of speculation, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared results for class 12th Board exams offering some relief to lakhs of students across the country. However, CBSE won't release list of toppers due to exceptional conditions. Students who appeared for the exams amid the Covid-19 pandemic at the time when the disease started to raise its ugly head in the country proved to be a testing period. The overall pass percentage has increased from 5.38 per cent since 2019. Amid all the chaos girls have done better than boys by 5.96 per cent since last year. Around 92.15 per cent girl students passed the examination compared to 86.19 per cent.

However, CBSE won't release the list of toppers due to exceptional conditions, according to our sources.
Once declared, you will be able to check class 12th results 2020 online at various official websites, IVRS telephone numbers and as well as applications. Around 18 lakh students have appeared for the examinations.
Students have remained anxious since rumours were rife regarding the declaration of the results. There were initially rumours of the results being declared on July 15 .
Lakhs of students are patiently waiting for the results to be released after the CBSE board decided to cancel the pending exams and provide the results according to the new marking scheme.
